Our Mission

What we do

Home of Faith Children Home works to end exploitative child labour in slate-mining communities by rescuing vulnerable children, providing safe residential care, and restoring access to education and health services.

Our mission in short

To ensure every child in our care receives protection, quality education and the practical skills needed to build a safe, independent life.

We focus on early intervention, long-term recovery and community programs that address the root causes of child labour — poverty, lack of education and limited livelihood options. Our approach is child-centred, evidence-driven and grounded in local partnerships.

How your support creates impact

Your gifts are directed to frontline services that protect and empower children — every rupee is used to deliver education, health, nutrition and skills.

  • ₹1,500 / month — school supplies, uniforms and daily tuition for one child.
  • ₹5,000 — funds a community health camp (screenings, medicines and vaccines).
  • Annual sponsorship — covers full residential care, education and essential healthcare for one child for a year.

We welcome one-time gifts, monthly sponsorships and in-kind donations. All contributions are used for direct programme costs and we provide regular updates to supporters.

"Driven by faith and a commitment to the poorest children, we work every day to restore hope and build futures. Every child deserves the chance to learn, heal and thrive."

— Dr. Gongati Sunitha Johnson, Founder & Director
